I was raised very loosely Catholic in a town that was over 90% Jewish. In other words, I grew up on The Bible. However, I have done copious amounts of research regarding many world religions and their belief systems.
While I have come to personally believe that no religion has it completely correct and do not personally support any organized religion regardless of type, I fully support your right to any belief structure in which you are committed.
I do believe in one supreme deity whom I was raised to call God and that God is part of a trinity that also includes the Holy Spirit and the Son that I was raised to call Jesus.
I have personally been touched by all three, and knew at the time which of the entities I was in communication with. I believe that knowledge was imparted to me in a way that I would understand, which is why those names were used.
That being said, if you call your supreme entity something other than God, I am completely in support of your choice of name. Feel free to change the name I use to whatever makes sense to you within your own belief structure as you read.
